who are we ?

Who are we ?

Two teachers. Two subjects. And the certainty that everyone can make it.

Our approach

why Rebels ?

You are not bad. No one is.

You were made to believe that English was lists
of verbs. That math was formulas to recite.
That if you didn’t understand the first time, it was ruined.

We say no.

A language, it comes when we talk about things that
count. Math, it becomes clear when someone
takes the time. The mistake is not a wall. It’s the
first step.

We don’t follow a program. We follow you, you.
With your questions, your doubts, your ways of thinking.
That’s where it starts. That’s where it’s beautiful.

“The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.”
— Ludwig Wittgenstein

Amanda

English Teacher

Philosopher. Native English speaker. CELTA certified. English is not a subject for her. It’s her language, her culture. And she opens the door for you.

Her classes start with a text, a song, a question that speaks to you. She tickles, she pushes, she asks why. Not to trap—to bring out what you have in your head. In English.

She listens, she raises again, she doesn’t give up. That’s how it comes.

Yoël

Maths Teacher

Yoël makes the math clear. No jargon, no
shortcut. He explains until it lights up.
Even when it takes time. Especially when it takes
of the time.

Each student moves forward at their own pace. We move on to the following
when it is understood. Not before.

The kind of teacher who transforms “I am bad at
maths” in “ah but it makes sense actually”. And that,
it changes everything.

Making a mistake is moving forward

Error is not a failure. It’s the beginning. Your hesitations have value.

Your curiosity first

Your questions, even those you find silly, are exactly what we need.

Understand, really

There is no silly question
and no pace too slow.

What if we tried?

The first class is 5€. English or math—it’s up to you.
